Ever since the first time we were at Santa Cruz to see Nelson in 1998, I've been in love with the place. It's such a great spot for fun, sun and waves!

We made sure to stop there again in 2003 on our drive along the coast, after all, such a fabulous place surely deserved another stop. It was just as nice as the first time.

Then this past September, we made a detour, we were only going to Auburn, CA from Salt Lake but we both REALLY needed a day at the beach, so we took the extra couple of hours to head further west. It was a balm for our stresses and our need for the shore.
